Rishabh Pant was injured in a serious car accident. Pant was involved in an accident between Mangalaur and Nursan, near his hometown of Roorkee in the northern state of Uttarakhand.

Pant sustained injuries to his forehead, hand and right knee. However, he is conscious and able to speak.
The same report said the cricketer was driving alone in his Mercedes GLE when he crashed into a guardrail on the Delhi-Haridwar highway around 5:30 a.m. The officer added that Pant was extracted from the wreckage and rushed to a nearby hospital, from where he was referred to a major hospital in Dehradun.

One of the most interesting batters in international cricket, Pant last played for India on Christmas Day when he helped his team to a 93-run first innings victory over Bangladesh in Mirpur.

Pant has not been declared for the upcoming T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka, but he is expected to play an important role in the squad when Australia arrives in February for the four-Test series.

We are all glad that his life is not in danger and wish him fast recovery and good health!
