India vs South Africa today will decide the first qualifier from their group today so let us analyze the game at hand.
India’s confidence is through the roof as things stand and why would it not be seeing that they are on the verge of qualification. Their batting and bowling lineups have been stable as well and despite the absence of top performances from star players like KL Rahul, they are still comfortable because these player’s previous performances have showed satisfaction. Virat Kohli scored 82 vs Pakistan and then 62 vs Netherlands showing a display of top class batting. Suryakumar Yadav, the 2nd best ranked t20 batsmen in the world scored a crazy 51 from 26 balls once again with a mad strike rate of 204. On the South African side of things, Quinton De Kock was once again effective with the bat scoring 63 runs and can again be against the likes of Shami, Ashwin & Bhuveneshwer Kumar however the man to watch will be Rilee Rossouw who scored 109 last game with a strike rate of 194.64.
PREDICTIONS TO WATCH FOR
The team that bats first will have a great advantage. It is expected to be a high scoring game and we can once again expect Rohit Sharma, Virat Kolhi and most importantly Suryakumar Yadav to once again hit the decks running. However at the same time Indian bowlers like Shami and Axar Patel will receive the bulk of the South African wrath through De Kock, Rossouw as well as Bavuma. The bowler to keep an eye on is Nortje since he is the one who can turn the game around with the ball. India is expected to win if they bat first!
