Real Madrid is set to sign Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr. on a long-term contract. The player who joined the Brazilian club Flamingo from Real Madrid in a huge transfer in 2018 initially stumbled but was able to become a key player in the team after Carlo Ancelotti took over as coach.

The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals and eight assists in 32 appearances for Real Madrid so far this season. Real Madrid is preparing to keep Vinicius with the club for a long time as the level of player performance continues to rise. Vinicius’s current contract is valid until 2025, but Real Madrid’s leadership is preparing to consider the player’s performance by increasing his salary. Discussions on this will be held soon.

Vinicius Jr. is considered to be a key player in Real Madrid’s future plans. They also think that the player will improve technically as he is very young. The player, who had not been able to score for a few days, also found the back of the net in a La Liga match against Alavs yesterday.
