The 4th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. What should do we expect to see during that match?

Considering the 2022 campaign, in which the Sunrisers finished just four points away from a playoff spot and four points above the bottom of the table, minor successes could play a crucial role this time as well.

The team’s big problem is that Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen and even team captain Aiden Markram will be absent for this game because of the South Africa-Netherlands ODI series.

Assume that Washington Sundar will lead the team, which will allow Bhuvneshwar Kumar to focus on leading the bowling attack specifically. As for the bat, all eyes will of course be on the middle order hitter, Englishman Harry Brook, who it must be noted has been in fantastic form in the last seven months.

Though they lost the final last May by a confident seven-wicket margin, Rajasthan Royals were very enthusiastic about reaching their first IPL final since as far back as 2008. Now we are all wondering if they can take another step forward this year? The team has the players for it and there is every chance that they will start this particular match with a win. The key to success will undoubtedly be the form of England player Jos Buttler at the top of the team.

After averaging 32-38 in the previous three seasons, the top order batter has scored as many as 863 runs in the 2022 IPL, 247 more runs than the nearest contender for the Orange cap. And in the ball game, Yuzvendra Chahal finished last campaign as the best player, and we also expect Trent Boult, who should be noted is no longer under contract with the New Zealand center and will contribute solidly to the game.

We don’t expect a one-sided game, but we predict that the Rajasthan Royals will be too strong for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Sunrisers will clearly miss their South African trio in this game. The Royals have a high quality whole team and were very close to winning the trophy last year, so we will still bet on them to win a sure win.
